Centurion Enterprises - and Vegas as a whole - is a neutral entity. We do not take sides, and we do not involve ourselves in drama. To this end, we enforce five Golden Rules that we expect all guests to follow when in our city. We are, of course, equally bound by these rules, and will follow them in regards to those who do the same.
These are not an exhaustive list of our room rules; users can still be booted for normal infractions. But, without a long slew of accumulated warnings and boots, or exceptional circumstances, we will not issue room bans for infractions that do not breach the Golden Rules, and users will be welcomed back once their boot has expired.
RULE I: Vegas Remains Neutral
Las Vegas is not a battlefield. It is not a chessboard. It is not a prize to be won. No matter the rivalries, the vendettas, the blood spilled elsewhere — here, all debts are left at the state line. The city thrives because it belongs to no one, and for that reason, it belongs to all. Do not mistake neutrality for weakness.
RULE II: The House Always Wins
The dice roll, the cards fall, but those who built the table always get their edge. If you walk away with more than you brought, consider it a courtesy, and one that can be revoked if necessary. Try to tilt the odds, and you will be reminded who dealt your hand in the first place.
RULE III: What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas
Curiosity is dangerous, and loose lips are a liability. In Vegas, everyone sees more than they should, but the wise pretend otherwise; what isn’t yours to know isn’t yours to repeat. Those who stare too long into the shadows risk disappearing into them.
RULE IV: Tip the Host
Nothing in this city comes for free, least of all its protection. Every table you play at, every room you sleep in, every whispered conversation you get to hold carries a price. We all benefit from peace, and those who enjoy its benefits must contribute to its upkeep. Try to cheat the landlord, and you’ll find yourself evicted — permanently.
RULE V: Cover Your Bets
If a deal cannot be enforced through faith, it will be enforced in blood. Whether a handshake in a back room or ink on a contract, an agreement is binding. A man who breaks his word here will find himself unwelcome in places far beyond it.
